100 POEMS

100 Poems is a new selection of Seamus Heaney's poetry, from across the entire arc of his writing life, chosen and introduced by the Heaney family - the poet's wife Marie, and his children, Michael, Christopher and Catherine.

Heaney himself had considered such a selection, but never managed it, and no other edition exists which has such a broad range, drawing from first to last of his prize-winning collections.  It includes his most loved and celebrated poems – such as 'Mid-Term Break', 'Postscript', 'Clearances 3' and 'Scaffolding' – as well as some perhaps more unexpected choices, which have personal resonance for the family, including his tender final poem, 'In Time'.
